Hyatt Regency Trinidad, located in Port of Spain, Trinidad, is the first Caribbean hotel designed specifically for business and meetings guests. The hotel's versatile event space showcases a 16,000 square foot Grand Ballroom and a 10,000 square-foot Ballroom with translation facilities. Other guest facilities include a full-service fine-dining restaurant, lobby bar and lounge, fitness center and the 9,000 square-foot Spa Esencia. Hyatt Regency Trinidad provides a relaxing escape for business travelers with an infinity pool and terrace overlooking the Gulf of Paria.

Good to know: Hyatt Regency Trinidad, which opened in Jan. 2008, is the first full-service hotel to open in Trinidad since 1962. With the tremendous success of last year's Fifth Summit of the Americas and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Hyatt Regency Trinidad continues to welcome major conferences and meetings this year. In January, the hotel hosted the Trinidad & Tobago Energy Conference attracting over 450 delegates from around the world and is looking forward to the Caribbean Health Research Council Conference this month, with approximately 250 registered attendees, as well as the Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) District Caribbean Convention 2010.

Hyatt Regency Trinidad, for the second time this year, hosted a conference of world leaders and was honored to welcome Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Commonwealth Heads of Government during their biennial meeting held from November 27-29.
